Cornerback

As a senior: Three (3) Year Letterman. Out with injury for the 2nd
half of the season. Made two (2) interceptions.
As a junior: Recorded 25 tackles in only six games after getting
injured for the rest of the season... also recorded a half tackle
for loss... Also took 2nd in the 4x400 and 7th in the 4x100 at
Nationals for UCM.
As a sophomore: Played in eight games overall, making 22 tackles and
leading the team with two interceptions... He made his first start
of the season at Emporia State and responded with five tackles and a
pass breakup in the end zone ... he missed two games with a hand
injury ...
vs. the Lincoln Blue Tigers he had three tackles, an interception
and blocked a punt... Won the 200 meters at both the indoor and
outdoor MIAA Championships for the track team... All-American in the
4x400 meter relay and national qualifier in 100 and 200 outdoors.
As a Redshirt: Redshirted in football, but was a valuable member of
the Mules’ track & field team ... he was an MIAA-champion during the
outdoor season with the 4x100- and 4x400-meter relay teams ... he
also placed second in the 100-meter dash and third in the 200.

As a senior: Sixth in the MIAA in all purpose yards at 114.8 per
game and 1,033 on the season.. Ninth in the MIAA in receiving yards
per game catching 33 passes for 360 yards and 3 touchdowns. Led the
MIAA in total punt return yardage, averaging 9.3 yards per return.
Eight in the MIAA in kick return yards per game at 22.2 yards per
return.
At Oklahoma State: Played in 11 games as a junior, snagging three
catches for 37 yards.
At Butler County: Parks transferred to Oklahoma State from Butler
Country Community College and went through spring drills with the
Cowboys. At Butler County last season, Parks had 28 receptions for
820 yards and scored eight touchdowns. He averaged 29.3 yards per
reception and had 32 punt returns for 490 yards, an average of 14.8
yards per return. For his Butler County career, he had 71
receptions. He was named first-team All-Jayhawk Conference as both a
receiver and return specialist. Parks also excelled in the classroom
as he was named an Academic All-American as a sophomore at Butler
County.

As a senior: One of the best to ever wear the Cardinal and Black.
Four year Starter. Became the All-Time leading tackler in Central
Missouri history finishing his senior season nursing several
injuries that would have sidelined most players. Third in the MIAA
in total tackles, despite missing 2 games in the season.
As a junior: Became the 12th first-team
All-American in school history, garnering honors from the AP... led
the squad in tackles for the second year in a row and grabbed
first-team All-MIAA and all-region honors for his efforts with 95
stops... was named the Football Gazette National Player of the Week
for his 19 tackle performance against No. 2 Northwest Missouri...
was named MIAA Player of the Week two times and the team’s defensive
MVP three times during the season as well... picked off a team-high
three passes and returned one against Fort Hays State 59 yards for a
touchdown to tie the MIAA record for interception returns for a
touchdown at four... He also currently ranks 7th in school history
coming into the season with 266 tackles.
As a sophomore: First-team All-MIAA, second-team All-Region, and
honorable mention D2Football.com All-American... the Mules’ leading
tackler with 96 (60 solo), third-best in the MIAA, tops among league
defensive backs ... he also was the Mules’ leader with nine special
teams tackles ... he had a career-high 15 tackles at MO Western ...
he added 11 tackles and two PBUs vs. Adams State ... had 12 stops at
Southwest Baptist ... he was the Mules Defensive MVP four times, won
the Swarm Award three times and earned Special Teams MVP honors
once... broke the UCM record with his third career interception
return for a
touchdown against Pittsburg State.
As a freshman: Ricketts was an MIAA Freshman of the Year candidate
after he started 10 games at free safety for the Mules ... as it
was, he earned honorable mention All-MIAA honors ... he had a
season-high 10 tackles against Northwest Missouri State, at
Pittsburg State, and in the season-finale vs. Emporia State ...
against Southwest Baptist he had three tackles, one for a loss, and
a UCM record-tying three interceptions, which he returned for 52
yards and a touchdown ... earned MIAA Player of the Week honors for
his effort ... he came back the next week with seven tackles and an
interception returned 33 yards for a TD ... on the season he had 75
tackles (second-best on the team), 2.5 for losses, five
interceptions, one pass break-up, and two interception returns for
touchdowns, which tied the Mules season and career record ... he
redshirted in 2003.

As a senior: Three (3) Year Letterman. Rushed for 485 yards and
eight touchdowns; averaging 4.4 yards per carry. Also made 17
catches for 167 yards.
Coach Fritz on Jeremy Braden: “Had an improved year in 2006. He can
run, block and receive out of the backfield. He is also a strong
contributor in the kicking game. He will compete for the starting
tailback position.”
As a junior: The team’s leading returning rusher, he was the only
running back to play all 11 games... He had a career-high 90 carries
for 499 yards and four touchdowns... was named the offensive MVP for
his game against No. 2 Northwest Missouri.
As a sophomore: Saw action in eight games, grabbing 141 yards on 25
carries... Had 82 yards and scored two touchdowns against Lincoln.
In high School: Head Coach: Chuck Litteras - He originally came to
UCM in the fall of 2002 and redshirted that year ... he then left
the program for two years but stayed in school ... he lettered in
football at Fort Osage H.S. and is the all-time leading rusher in
school history.

Made 41 tackles.
As a junior: Played in all 11 games, making 48 stops... had an
interception against Fort Hays State and started most of the season
at cornerback.
Before UCM: Was an All-American defensive back at North Dakota and
earned all-state honors while helping Blue Springs High School to a
state championship in 2003.

As a senior: Four year Letterman / Three (3) Year Starter. The
best punter in the MIAA; perhaps the best in Division II? Also a
strong kickoff guy. Known for dropping punts inside the 20 (often
inside the opponents 10) he is also known for booming kickoffs
through the endzone with the wind in his face, despite kickoffs
having been moved back 5 additional yards during his college career.
As a junior: Earned second-team All-MIAA honors for the second year
in a row after a 38.8 yards per punt average and 10 inside the 20
compared to only two touchbacks... also handled kickoff duties.
As a sophomore: Set a record with seven punts inside the 20 last
season against Adams State.. ranked second in the MIAA in punting
average at 38.3 yards per kick... earned second-team All-MIAA honors
for his efforts... saw action in all 10 games.
As a freshman: Frankel saw limited action, appearing for a kickoff
vs. Washburn University ... also was a solid contributor for the
Mules on the scout teams.

As a junior: Started every game at right guard, earning the Union
award for his performance in the Lincoln game.
As a sophomore: Saw action in nine games for the Mules, mostly at
guard.
As a freshman: Baugh made four starts for the Mules in his initial
collegiate campaign, at right tackle vs. Southwest Baptist and at
right guard vs. Missouri Western, Missouri-Rolla, and Truman.

work in the classroom.
As a sophomore: Saw action in eight games in the offensive line
rotation... he graded a season-high 72 percent at Southwest Baptist
As a freshman: Seeing his first collegiate action, Ochsner appeared
in four games, making the start at right tackle vs. Northwest
Missouri State... he redshirted in 2003.

Emporia State... long catch of the year came against Fort Hays for
58 yards... caught a pass in the final nine games of the season.
As a sophomore: He missed the first
two games of the year with an ankle injury, but made a catch for
four yards vs. Washburn, and a one-handed snag on the sideline for
31 yards vs. Truman ... he caught his first collegiate touchdown
pass with a six-yard grab at Southwest Baptist ... he had one
reception in six straight games.
As a freshman: McCartney played in four games for the Mules ... at
Lincoln he had one catch for seven yards, and in the season finale
against ESU he one reception for three yards ... redshirted in 2003.

named to the MIAA Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
As a sophomore: Played eight games as a reserve tight end.
As a freshman: Raithel played in seven games for the Mules as a
reserve tight end and on special teams ... after making the team as
a walk-on, he redshirted in 2003.

and picked off a pass...received the Swarm award against Fort Hays
State for his play.
As a sophomore: Tied for second on the team in sacks with three ...
he had a career-high six stops and a sack with one quarterback hurry
vs. Truman ... he also had three stops and a sack in the
season-opener vs. Adams State.
As a freshman: In his redshirt freshman year, Bryant played in seven
games for the Mules ... he totaled 11 tackles (one for a loss) and a
sack ... had two tackles against Adams State ... he also had half a
sack vs. the Grizzlies ... against NWMSU he added four tackles and
half a tackle for a loss ... redshirted in 2003. |
